Love this lake. Clean and especially no plants growing up from below.
Easy access by RER + bike or car - free parking. Or bike access routes all the way from Paris.
3 islands so choice of multiple swim distances from the non beach side where I train with my triathlon team.
Highly recommended!

Together with a friend we attended a festival. It is a long distance walk from train station. No public transport available. Obviously the rain doesn't help .
If you think to attend any festival bear in mind that. Have your own transport as parking is free and be prepared for the elements. Wish we knew those things before.
Other than that, the location is beautiful. Beware of organizers.
