Quintessential mountain food served in the most interesting venue in Chamonix. With every corner of the restaurant adorned with different collections of traditional mountain gear hanging from the walls and ceiling, it's a great place just to sit and stare. The food is as you would expect - cheese takes centre stage with the half raclette wheel grilled at the table or the various fondues a must order. The wine list is comprehensive and staff happy to help. A must- go for a post-ski refuel.

We went as a very large group (around 100) and everyone was served at the same time. Good organization and the plates are terrific

Very fantastic place with a traditional style, you can discover old stuf used on this area like ski, oven..... and the food is delicious. i recommend this place

Great ambience for a group gathering. We sat in their underground dining area with a warm setting after a full day of skiing.

The restaurant is comfortable, and offers quite a choice of tipical dishes. I went for some cheese fondue with prosciutto and potatoes. I appreciated the taste, but couldn't figure out a proper way to actually pick up the food and put it in my mouth. Anyway, I would say the cousine is ok and the location is quite peculiar, there are any kind of objects scattered all over the place, which is very big and good for large groups of people. Prices are ok considering we are eating in Chamonix centre.

Old-time ambiance dripping with antiques, attentive service, talented kitchen, traditional offerings from the region. Racklette is popular, but save room for dessert. We had a big group (10 or so) and were served well. Those with limited mobility will be challenged to get around.

Fantastic rustic interior, huge menue, unfortunately the service and food was way below par on our evening.
