Incredible food and warm, welcoming service. Every bite packed with flavour and carefully considered. Great wine list with many excellent and well-priced options. Not cheap but astounding value for the quality that's delivered. Truly memorable meal.

The riz de veau was fantastic. Not too heavy, seasoned well, a solid french classic dish.

I went for the soufflé. I much preferred my partner’s Paris Brest.

Excellent service and attentive throughout the entire meal. (Even the butter was perfectly salted and at ROOM temp! I get excited bc I rarely find butter served @ French restaurants... at room temp?! Jackpot!)

The meal. Oh dear. I was blown away by their garlic, Jerusalem artichoke, frog legs. Flavorful and addicting... I wanted more.

I never wrote reviews but felt compelled to. This was one of those life-changing dining experiences. If you don't know what French fine dining is all about, seriously, go there. You will be floored. The food was exceptional and beyond delicious. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and thoughtful. The setting was intimate and beautiful inside and out. Also, the staff were all wonderful. They were professional and respectful, and at the same time friendly and charming. I felt truly spoiled there.
A point about the price: people say it is expensive and while it is not considered "cheap"--not the sort of place you go to grab fast-food and get out of there in 15 minutes--this is an occasion you set aside a few hours for--it is seriously worth every penny for what you get. It was very reasonably priced and they are very generous with the food. I have paid this much $$ at so-called fine dining restaurants in "big cities" and they are nowhere near this level. I would go back again and again as long as they are open.

Oh boy! One of the most memorable dining experiences in France! I love the cozy, classy dining room and the high level of detail they put towards elevating traditional French dishes.

Oh my goodness. One of the best meals I have ever enjoyed with superbly prepared and presented food and impeccable service.

excellent cuisine and charming service. I went this weekend with a friend of mine (we are both serious foodies) we got there on the verge of the closing time and asked for a special menu sharing a few different dishes. The staff, including the chef, bent backwards to accommodate our asks and ensure we had a great time. The vol au vent perico is out of this world, and the coeur d'aloyau is the best in the region. This place is a must wen in Tours, a traditional, well executed cuisine with excellent service.

Quite possibly the best meal I have ever eaten. Bouley and Le Bernadin had previously been tied for the title of my favorite meal, but La Roche Le Roy may have just surpassed them both. My husband and I chose the Carte Blanche menu, putting our dining fates in the hands of the chef. The gastronomic delights which followed proved that was a wise choice. We're hard pressed to choose our favorite dish, though the fois gras in a crispy pastry package would be a likely choice. The wines recommended were local and perfectly suited to the cuisine. Marilyn Couturier, wife of chef Alain Couturier, is a charming and delightful manager of the front of the house. It's no wonder this restaurant has earned a Michelin star. If you are in Tours, go! We will definitely return.
