Great location away from the centre. It feels more like a 'local' establishment than a tourist venue. Super friendly staff, good with children. You go for the wine and come back for the food. Free entrees (bread and radishes with salt) very fresh. Sitting outside reminds us why we love Beaune so much this is our favourite place we've returned every year since 2011. Go, get out of the centre!

Repas excellents. L'oeuf parfait porte bien son nom! Les pièces de viande sont fondantes. La carte des vins est très bien fournie. Le personnel y est agréable et accueillant. Adresse que je recommande vivement.

What a fantastic place! My wife and I were just recently in Beaune to celebrate 40 years together and this was definitely the place to do it. Finding this place was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our whole trip. Alex, the owner and bartender, Was such a gracious host and also a big fan of blues music, as are we. He even had a live blues band in there on Friday night and with the size of the place, which is very small, I don't know how he pulled it off, but he did and it was great. The clientele was also a treat as we met and befriended several wonderful people. Anytime we travel to France we would definitely go back to Beaune and would surely go back to this place, Shorely more than once! Much continued success to Alex, he deserves it!
