DO NOT GO HERE. Our bag including passports, cash etc. was stolen from inside the restaurant while we ate and not only did they say there was a 'black spot' where we were sitting in terms of cameras, they did not assist the police, made us pay for our food and could not have cared less. Makes you wonder....

Over the last 6 days have eaten here twice, once alone and once with a friend. Impressed both times with the kind and professional demeanor of the wait staff. Price wise was in line with most venues I visited. Particularly enjoyed a perfectly cooked omelette and the onion soup. Great butter for the delicious bread. I am looking forward to eating here again.

In a side note, food was ridiculously expensive and service was terrible.

CAPPUCCINO! A lovely break from shopping on Rue Saint-Honoré! Cozy it is to sit at the corner table next to the front door! Friendly and warm service! Loved the chocolate on top of their cappuccino! Rejuvenated thereafter!

Maitre d’ wants you out unless you are eating a full meal. Floated around looking at his watch and gesturing to his team, being clear the tables should be vacated. Clearly has a different image of his hospitality than reality demonstrates. Location works in his favour; nothing written on any website will significantly dent the appeal to most. Futile to think otherwise. All other staff were fine.

The Staff are so rude here. The waiter told us in an extremely disrespectful way to 'wait' to place our order whilst serving others who came in after us. He didn't even listen to what we ordered, was aggressive and then brought us the wrong drinks. ($20 martinis)
Then argued with us about what he served as if it was our fault. No apologies. The manager was sarcastic in trying to determine what was ordered in the first place. The entire experience was extremely unsettling and gives credence to the Parisian reputation. It truly spoilt what previously had been a wonderful day.

I have been going to Castiglione for approximately 10 years because I stay frequently on business trips at the nearby Westin Vendome. I have spent thousands of euros at this restaurant. On a recent Saturday night, at the beginning of France's holiday season when business from locals slows down, I popped into Castiglione about 10 pm and sat at a corner table in the front of the restaurant where I have sat many times before. Sometimes I've ordered wine and food there and sometimes just wine or a scotch. This night, after my wife and I seated ourselves, one of the managers approached and said we couldn't sit there unless we ordered dinner. We had already had dinner, but I was going to have a couple of single-malt scotches and relax. But we were given the boot instead. I would venture a guess that my three or four single malts would have surpassed any tab for dinner that someone might have run up at 10 pm. Moreover, from a business standpoint, there is a higher profit margin on spirits than food. The manager who gave me the boot obviously is not a free-thinking economist. And as a result, when in Paris I will forevermore take my money elsewhere. There is no shortage of places where I can sit down at a nice table and have a Scotch or a glass or two of wine. They have lost a longtime loyal customer for no good reason that I can think of.

Tried to purchase a bottle of wine and were turned away because we were not ordering food. Poor, poor business decisions my friends. You reap what you sew. And thanks to you I have added this restaurant to a "Do not attend" list on Google maps and have shared my experience with my colleagues
I could agree more with the prior review that this venue is pretentious and overrated.

The hangout spot on rue Saint-Honoré for all the fashion-related people during fashion week. Right across from E. goyard, you'll get to enjoy morning expresso and the view of Place Vendôme from their second floor's window.

Wonderful restaurant located in the heart of the fanciest area of Paris. Tables and space are reduced and the food is nice. Quick service. Upstairs is more comfortable

Visited this place in January 2017 for breakfast, regular tasting food but exaggerated prices. ~7 euro for a tiny cup of the most usual tea (for what I asked for herbal tea and was served earl gray).

Food was so good. Staff are really nice and friendly. They offer good service. A very good place to meet your friends. Truly recommand. I met good people next to my table and had a good talk with them. That's why I am more satisfied with this restaurant.
