Sympa simple et belle présentation des plats, goûteux armatises, une gentille patronne un cadre boisé et bien tenu ne changez rien!

Alla ricerca di un posto dove preparassero piatti regionali e non fosse trappola per turisti, il naso ci ha condotto qui. Conquistati subito dall'ambiente semplice ma onesto, conduzione familiare, prezzi onestissimi e porzioni abbondanti. Il personale è cortese e bravo e i piatti sono indiscutibilmente buoni, con punte di perfezione. Favoloso l'agnello e il beauf con salsa al cognac e il tortino al cioccolato con cuore fondente e caramello al fior di sale. È possibile finire con un bicchierino dell'immancabile Cognac o il pineau, un vino liquoroso molto comune da loro (ma solo lì)

Je vais souvent manger là quand je suis à Cognac. Sans surprise, bonne qualité, cuisine honnête, présentation soignée.

Friendly service from a waitress who was more than happy to attempt English. Quiet atmosphere, civilised but not uptight decor. We had the cheaper entree + plat option, great value for money. The pork terrine was a huge helping, must have, and then the chef's dish of the day which was a thin rump steak with frites and pepper sauce, at medium rare it was tender and flavoursome. For dessert one simply must have their fancy ice creams, comes with some sort of sweet whipped cream, one serving is enough for two!

Cuisine faite maison et et excellente de surcroît. Bravo au chef ! Service au petit soin et agréable. Une très bonne adresse.

I looked on Tripadvisor for a restaurant in Cognac and I was not disappointed. The food was superb. The service was excellent, even though out french was limited. Go at 7.15 as it has only a small amount of covers. The house white is lovely. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
