2. Hiring items from the campsite- I hired a parasol and a fridge for the week of my stay, here is what I found once I got there.
The fridge was a table top half fridge, it was not a camping fridge it was a fridge suitable for a house and not for a tent, it was massive it made a lot of noise and produced heat, which we later found out that could have posed a safety hazard.
The fridge was given to us dirty and damaged, it was giving back to the campsite in the same condition and they decided to take 100 Euros out of my friend’s bank account without permission or letting him know beforehand. These 100 Euros were later classified as cleaning and repair charges.
The Parasol- I hired a parasol I was given a Nestle parasol which looked very tacky, the table and chair hire which was available were Nestle products as well.
I later found out that the campsite seems to have a contract with Nestle as they had a Nestle fridge freezer and sold only Nestle products.
In my experience, a contract like that works that you sale their ice-creams, you only buy from them, they give you a free fridge freezer ,tables ,chairs ,parasols and other products you require for free with their logo on it; and as far as I am aware It is against contractual terms to hire them out for profit.
3. Facilities and surrounding areas- When we booked the site their website explains that we would have been able to use their swimming pool and fishing lake. We were able to do this but we found out that we would have had to go down the hill over to the next campsite to do this. The map shows that both campsites are opposite one another, the map is incorrect.
The swimming pools were only used by children and sometimes the parents got away with using it.
The animals- there are some animals around the area, mainly a couple of donkeys and sheep, all with fly strike.
The fence was dangerous as barb wire was running across the length of it and children seemed to go down there unattended to play with the animals.
4. Concert- A concert was advertised on the campsite for the night before we left.
My friends and I thought it would be a small event aimed at children and therefore did not bothered, however, we were proven wrong the same night.
The concert was held in one of the fields close by; its location was not properly advertised in the advert.
What bothered us was the noise that was made, the concert went on until the early hours of the morning, that night we didn’t manage to get a wink of sleep, the animals in the surrounding areas did not like the loud music too as they were lamenting all night, a cockerel even decided it would be a good idea to sing at 11.30 pm due to the stress it was put under.

Overall my stay was bad, and I shall not go back again.
But by all means don’t let my bad experience put you off.

Un camping familiale à la campagne et à 10 mn de la baie de Somme. Des grands emplacements pour les tentes et plusieurs cabanes perchées pour épater les enfants ! Il y a aussi une grande prairie avec des animaux de la ferme, une piscine couverte, des aires de jeux, des structures gonflables, un trampoline, un snack-bar et un Club enfants gratuit en saison. Propriétaires très accueillants.

Nous avons fait l'expérience du tipi et c'était très bien. A l'intérieur du tipi il y a le nécessaire pour un repas simple (micro-ondes, vaisselle, bouilloire). Accueil très agréable.

Superbe cabane dans les arbres, un bon moment en famille, une découverte pour nous. Idéal pour 2 enfants et les parents.

Een prachtig uitzicht vanuit een bijzonder mooi gesitueerde boomhut. De plek kortom is vooral veel waard. Heerlijk om in de boomkruin te kunnen genieten van de vogels en het ruisen van de wind.

Très bien accueillis et ravis de notre expérience dans différents types de logement. Attention au froid la nuit dans la bulle mais il y a ce qu'il faut en couvertures. Le petit déjeuner mériterait quelques améliorations mais il est en tout cas très agréable d'avoir un petit déjeuner à disposition chaque matin au réveil. Un gros coup de coeur pour la cabane dans les arbres, c'était très chouette.

Het personeel komt weinig enthousiast tot zelfs ongeïnteresseerd over. Als je als medewerker op de receptie niet weet dat sanitairgebouw X al weken niet in gebruik is... De bezorger van het ontbijt onderaan de katrol leek er ook weinig zin in te hebben vandaag. Kortom: van een warm gevoel van welkom kwam weinig terecht.

Een kleine ventilatiekachel had moeite de temperatuur behaaglijk te maken. De plek waar de brandmelder hoorde te zitten was leeg (99% van de hut is hout en er zijn kaarsen voorhanden, maar geldt wel een rookverbod?!) De stofzuiger maakte kortsluiting.

Leuke camping, mooi uitzicht, kindvriendelijk (trampoline, springkussen, pingpong-tafel, en een zwembad van de andere camping die je gewoon kan gebruiken!) Een prima douche, wc, afwasplek en mogelijkheden om de was te doen. Alleen je moet eigenlijk wel zorgen dat je niet te laat gaat douchen want dan zijn de douches nog wel eens te koud. Kortom een leuke vakantie gehad!

De boomhut is knus en origineel bedacht. Prima bedden, voldoende dekens en de magnetron zijn ok. Het toilet is primitief, maar dat past goed bij de omstandigheden. Doorspoelen met zaagsel ;-).

Het koude zwembad bij de buren hebben we ongebruikt gelaten. Die koude douche hadden we al te pakken in het matige sanitair waar de heater pas aanging nadat we weer aangekleed waren.

Une belle semaine passée avec nos 3 enfants en ecolodge 5 places. A recommandé, tout équipé, confortable, au calme. Jeux et grands espaces pour les enfants, piscine....Accueil très agréable.

Al met al alleen een aanrader als je vooral een bijzondere plek zoekt. Voor een warm welkom en fijne faciliteiten zoek je beter nog even verder.

4 reasons for not going to this campsite.
In August 2012 I choose to stop off at this camp site for a week, here are 4 reasons for why you should avoid going there, here is what I experienced.
1. The Shower and toilet facilities- The showers are cold and shower blocks are open to the elements, therefore in the evening it gets really cold in there. The shower blocks are not clearly gender labelled and it happened more than once that I found men in the women block due to this problem.
The toilets do not have seats.
