Lui connaissait.la carrière de Pierre Boulet à l'époque à disparue remplaçée par
De la vigne,et que dire de l'horme-aux-loups ou des étendues de muguet poussait
Là éxaltant un parfums de printemps.
Quoiqu'il en soit pour y ētre revenu ,ce que je ne regrette pas ,je recommande tout
Particulièrement la Florine ( hôtel restaurant qui n'était ;voilà 50 ans qu'un simple
Bistrot de village où nous aimions y passer de bons moments.

Pour l'accueil et les services qui nous ont été proposés.

Hôtel restaurant ouù l'on mange très bien pour un bon rapport qualité prix
le buffet d'entrées est bien garni et bien varié

Want friendly and authentically local? This is the place. The food is straightforward and simple - basically a set menu with a choice from two mains and several home-made desserts. The appetizer bar is a bit weird, but that's how the French roll. By the way, the food may be simple, but it's prepared perfectly. Super friendly service, friendly locals - a joy to spend a long lunch at. Also, the local "alcool" (pear or mirabelle) is spectacular.

We discovered the cafe at the Hotel le Floroine purely by accident. What a happy accident it turned out to be. We had breakfast nearly every morning for two weeks and a few lunches during our stay. Dominique is a wonderful chef and Veronique's happy "Bonjour" each time we came in always made us feel welcomed. If you are in the Sancerre area and want to be completely immersed in village life you must visit this lovely and warm little gem. A previous reviewer said "romantic" and he is so right. Sitting at a table in this small cafe along the canal, sipping cafe creme, watching the barges amble by (and often moor) and the locals coming out of the next door boulangerie with baguettes under their arms - man, that's why we came to France. We live in San Diego and visit France every two years. We are absolutely going to come back to the Hotel le Floroine and enjoy Dom and Veronique's hospitality again. Magnifique!
