Had a wonderful half-week stay at this very chic boutique hotel in Paris, with neat modern rooms and a very artistic, sort of funky chic lobby. Breakfast was excellent: the croissants were amazing. You can ask the staff for an extra croissant if your very hungry. :-) Le General is located right around the corner from the Place de la Republique square and is close to the Paris Metro station at Republique and close to the large Crown Plaza Hotel that is on the northeast side of the Republique square. Thank you Le General, and thank you for the extra croissant! ;-)

Amazing hotel. Superb staff. Rooms are small - don't stay here if you aren't slim. I'd give it 5 stars if it was located on the Left Bank. Neighborhood has some shopping and dining gems but Place Republique is sketchy so walk south and west. This neighborhood does not feel like The Marais.

Really lovely little boutique hotel. Get bar area for meetings with free sweets and drinks. Rooms are small but all you need, lovely nespresso machines in rooms and big TV.

Just the perfect boutique hotel. Amazing staff and everything you need for a comfortable and safe trip to Paris. They even give you a French smartphone for your stay!

The hotel is cozy and we'll designed. Bathrooms are equipped with L'Occitane products.
The accoustic isn't great and the cleaning staff wasn't mindful of guests sleeping. They were loud and banging stuff in the corridor. I had left a do not disturb sign on my door, which obviously ment they should have been a bit more careful.
