We've been to many soiree's at the Moulin and the food is always excellent. Brett the chef often manages to serve the meal with a slight twist to what you expect and the attention to detail is extremely high, this is real restaurant level food but served in relaxed surroundings & at a reasonable price. Rachel heads up front of house, often not stopping for breath especially if she has to serve everyone outside by the river! Along with Anne & Nick (Rachel's parents) who help out too, this is a real family affair. Anne is often welcoming guests and checking everyone is OK, Nick is Mr DIY who has tirelessly renovated the Moulin and maintains everything.

Great location with a lovely river to dip your toes. The restaurant and bar was clean and well maintained and the food we ate was fantastic and great value for money. Will definately visit again :-)


Although they get quite a lot of English guests, Brett, Rachel and Anne are fluent French speakers and have been acknowledged by many French people that they can serve excellent 'freshly cooked' food. Perhaps their great accolade is that the local Maire is one of the Moulin's most regular customers.

An absolutely fabulous dining experience, top class meals & wonderful staff

The Moulin has been transformed from what it was just a few years ago & we hope that we can continue walking down the road for excellent food, surroundings, company and service for many years to come.

Un coin idyllique au bord de la Creuse, un service souriant et efficace, des plats délicieux préparé et présenté avec goût, rien à dire, on y passe un bon moment !
