If the location is the major factor, so it's ok, but there are better restaurants in Strasbourg.

The food was okay, but some things clearly lacked freshness, like the brown bits of lettuce in my salad. Given the area, I'd try one of their competitors serving the same alsatian dishes before going back.

Very poor service.
Can't tell how the food is, we left after 15 min, cause the waiter did not bring any menue even though we asked for one. the tables around us got one. Sad

I was disappointed this time compared to the last time i went with friends. The service was not up to my expectations : clumsy staff, you have to ask for anything. I had to ask for the bill. And then ask to pay the bill. Two guys are serving and running everywhere however the service is slow! What a paradoxical situation.
Nevertheless the food was good and tasty but the dishes' presentation would deserve more attention and care. The bread could have been better ; the waiter said it was made by a local baker but i really doubt about it. The place would need some fix up in some areas (to repaint and repkace some bare wires with actual good lights).
So disappointed and that's a shame.

However the food wasn't tasty, and the prices are pretty high.

The location is great and the waiters are kind.

The slowest place I have eaten at in a long time. There were 4 of us they served 3 and left the third person sitting for 15 minutes waiting. We waited over an hour for our food.

We stopped by for lunch, after the boat tour.
Despite entering the restaurant towards the end of the peak time, the service was flawless, and the food delicious: Flammkuchen (French trate) and Eisbein (ham hock).

Nice local cuisine and good service. The only problem is that is most of the time overcrowded and the distance between tables is too small.
