Very good food with beautiful presentations! only french fries weren't good at all. Lovely terrace by the beach boulevard. The staff doesn't speak english though..

Cuisine simple, un manque de présentation.
Cependant nous nous sommes régalés avec le moule frite. Prix correct pour le bord de mer.
Restaurant un peu bruyant par forte affluence.
Personnel consciencieux.

The food is OK, but why do we have to way this long ? Being friendly with your customers is important, but you should take care of them while they are waiting for half an hour for their starters.

The Terrace Where Times Stands Still . . . le Transat looks like a lovely place for drinks or a meal, sitting on the terrace with its view toward the estuary and the promenade that runs beside it. And it is a pleasant place to sit, enjoying the view and people-watching, if you don't mind waiting . . . and waiting. I have been here twice, once for dinner and once for drinks, both times to listen to live jazz. My galette with scallops should have been good--after waiting so long I was certainly hungry enough--had it not been luke-warm and over-salted. The second time the terrace was packed, but even so it took us half an hour between being seated and getting our drinks. I was on the point of going inside to the bar and bringing out the tray myself. My advice: eat somewhere else and then soak up the view by strolling along the sea after your meal.

Tasty food and good presentation at this restaurant by the beach. The lady who served us was very helpful and then turned out to speak English and explained dishes to me as my French was no where as good as my sister's. In terms of service she made the place with her attentive care.
I had a beautiful wine called Uby. And my chocolate fondant dessert took me by complete surprise with its fruit presentation. It was Yum.

Beautiful location. Very prompt service, great food. Staff spoke a bit of English which compared to my zero French was fine. One of the few places open on a Sunday night, pleasantly surprised that it was a nice place also.
