Rented 3 bikes for 3 hours, cam back within the 3 hours. Shop was shut. Not at any point when we were hiring them were we told that they would be shut, and were charged an extra hour for the bikes. 2 weeks later and I still haven't got the 1000 euro deposit back in my account.

I have been in to Legend bike shop on several occasions and had my bike serviced/repaired there. They are a great bunch of people who are knowledgeable and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Good kit and they were helpful in sourcing stuff for me when not in stock.

In short, I walked into the shop about to spend 1500 euros on a bike, and left threatening to call the police to get back the money they had scammed me for.

sérieux et rapide, bon shop

When I complained, instead of trying to rectify the situation they told me I should buy a bike that was 400 euros more expensive, that it was all my fault and that I was behaving like a 12 year old boy. They compounded this with the rudest dismissive behavior I have ever experienced in a shop. I was speaking with the owner of the shop and his right hand man, so I see no chance of their terrible customer service or rip off tactics improving any time soon.

This is the best bicycle shop in Chamonix, hands down.
Great workshop and quick repairs plus a good selection of mountain bikes for any riding in the valley. In the winter time they have a really good selection of Skis for touring and snowboard stuff. They are much more honest than the other shop in town called zero g who did a lot of on authorized work on my bike and tried to charge me extra.

Unrepentant rip off merchants!!!

I have just been scammed out of €54 by these guys. Took a bike out for a pre booked trial, paid the rental price as is the norm, then went to buy the bike only to be told it wasn't actually for sale after all, and as such my rental would not be reimbursed.

I will never be setting foot in this store again.
