We stayed at the hotel three times so far and ate at the restaurant many times. For me this is one of the most charming places, a beautiful building and a location offering a spectacular view on the Baie de Somme from the hotel terrace or from the rooms facing the bay. The room, lobby, restaurant interior decoration is beautiful in its charming country style with a lot of attention to detail. During the main season it is nearly impossible to get a room, thus try early or be flexible. I recommend not to take a room on Rue d'Eglise facing the church unless you want to be woken up by the church bell or trash truck early in the morning. The down side at Les Tourelles is the service, which too often follows the attitude "if you have a problem, it's your problem". There are avoidable imperfections with the rooms that become annoying in their sum, and if pointed out to the staff: see above. For the high price tag one can expect more attention. Breakfast: 10.50 € for croissant and bread is way sub-standard. The restaurant offers a reasonable spectrum of typical local seafood and a good selection for kids, not much though for vegetarians, all with a high price tag. The quality is good but not near the Gault Millau rating level. The restaurant service is far below standard, possibly due to understaffing at high season, which obviously stresses the personnel. In summary, it's a pity that such a charming place is spoiled by the poor service and overpricing.

The place is amazing!
I have been coming here since a long time, and every year they improve something.
Rooms are small, but very cosy, with a little touch every time. Ask for a room with view on the sea, it's magnificent.
Breakfast and restaurant are very good, with a large choice of food, and of course a special touch on local fish.
Even in the winter, go for a walk on the baie and relax back at the hotel in the saloon with a delicious triple Karmeliet from the tap, which of rate enough worth to mention it!
Last but not least, it's perfect fit families and dogs, with large dorms for all kids to sleep together!

Started off well enough when they came and took our orders they food was good but not sure that it was worth the hefty price tag. Service ran out after the mains when no one came to clear our plates from the table and after nearly 45 minutes waiting patiently while everyone else was being catered for we gave up and put our plates on an empty table. Then things finally changed but our drinks were now finished and no check by staff to see if we wanted more. Dissappointing service. Foodwise there are equally good alternatives in town for an evening meal with much better service.
