A really great place to stay in Beaune very nice large room with excellent bath, tub shower and heated towel rack. Very clean and tidy with rustic beams showing. Private parking and entire compound secured at night with heavy iron gate accessed by key code. Reception area with bar very cozy. Dining room for breakfast open and airy with tables outside for your use we brought in bread, cheese and wine one day and enjoyed the sun - late April 2015. Our two rooms were in the back so I cannot describe the the ones near the street. All buildings built around a courtyard layout with very nice flowering trees and plants. Walking distance to more than one needs to see. Staff just wonderful and spoke English which saved us - many thanks to them. Hope to return.

Very pleasant hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and spoke very good English). It's in a great location just outside the city wall, so a very short walk to lots of restaurants and the town centre.

On the other hand, the staff attitude is a bit variable...I certainly wasn't made to feel welcome upon arrival, although later there were some more affable moments. Breakfast is sort of okay, but a bit old style. In fact 'old style' is a good adjective for the whole experience. The room decor is rather 1960s, but all seems quite new. The bar and common areas (other than the entrance hallway, which has charm) are rather uninviting and lacking in atmosphere. Didn't know what to make of it all really.

At the end of the day, when set against the price of €122, I guess I'd have to say: pretty good. But I'm struggling really in giving it 4 stars...

Friendly, clean and convenient for the town centre, bit of a walk from the train station a good option if you're driving or don't mind sourcing a cab.

On the plus side Hôtel Belle Epoque is very conveniently located to wander into Beaune, secure and easy parking is available on site, and the 'Comfort' room we booked was spacious enough and adequately comfortable. And at €122 a night is offers very good value for money

The location was excelllent. Parking was secure and easy to access. The room was comfortable and clean. I would visit again.
