Small rooms, still a charming place. May be a tourist trap village

Horrible service. The waiter fooled us coming to the other tables but "forgetting" us for 15 min. We didn't have other option to leave and go to next door restaurant and that was the best thing we did. As*h*les.

Fantastic location for d day touring. The hotel itself is run down and needs refurbishment however our bathroon looked like it had been down. The beer is very expensive. Didnt try the food because the hotel always stank of fish and just put me off.

Unfriendly personnel, only speaking French. At the bar you're looking out over the sea, which was nice.

Do not eat at the restaurant within the hotel. Never in my life have I been more disrespected while being a patron of a restaurant. I do not speak very much French, which is of course my fault. However, when I asked the server if he could translate some of the seafood dishes for me (since my translator app wasn't working) he said "no, that's not for you."
Pardon me? I am from an island. I eat mussels and clams and oysters daily. They're a part of my diet. I went there BECAUSE I saw these magnificent buckets of mussels being served inside and I wanted some. When I said "what do you mean, not for me?" He said "you wouldn't like this."
Yes, I would. The assumption that just because I sound American (when in realty, I'm a Canadian west coaster) I wouldn't like some of the seafood is outrageous.
So, I asked for another moment with the menu. I saw other staff of the restaurant glaring at me.
When he came back, I asked for the chocolate banana crepe. He glared and snootily said "that's a dessert"
Okay, Monsieur, if you didn't want me eating dessert for lunch, why didn't you let me even consider eating seafood?
In conclusion, if you are non-French speaking, this place is not accommodative at all. Very disgusted with my treatment.

Several times there for a kilo of "mules" mussels with white wine sauce, baguette, frites and rose wine - superb food. Service sometimes a bit "french style". Love it
