We stayed for 1 night only and next morning left Le Marius without any problem to continue our trip around Champagne region. To my surprise upon return I found an email from Agoda informing me that the hotel owner called them and gave them a full long list of things that we supposedly broke in the room.... from bed to blinds and from phone to hangers. I must admit this accusation left speechless not only myself but also the whole group of friends and relatives we were travelling with. As a matter of fact I travel quite a lot and spend a good part of my life in different hotels around the world but this is the first time I’ve been accused to break anything in the room.... and so many things at once ... in an overnight stay only. I’m absolutely disgusted by these counterfeit accusations. Absolutely disgusted! The whole good impression of the Le Marius disappeared in a blink of an eye.

The only downside was the church which, at 7am, didn't just ring it's bell 7 times, but went on forever. We hadn't heard this quite so loudly in our first stay (room no 4) and it rang again just before 8am and at 8am - guess it's OK if you're travelling and need to get up anyway.

J'ai testé le restaurant. Alors c'est bon, le cadre est sympa, le champagne est bon ! Pour deux, j'ai payé 100€ (apero, entrée plat dessert) ! Je trouve que c'est un peu excessif ! C'est perdu au milieu de nul part, il n'y a vraiment rien aux alentours... j'ai déjà fait des 1 étoile aux alentours de Paris pour ce prix ! Sinon les gens sont sympas.

très beau cadre et un excellent menu, copieux et savoureux.Pour a part j'ai trouvé l’accueil un peu distant mais le service impeccable. Restaurant à recommander !

Basement restaurant is very reasonable (€14.40 for fixed menu 2 course lunch with large glass of wine) Very clean and popular with locals.

We will definitely stay here again, as the rooms are large and clean and the staff friendly and helpful, with good food to be had in their restaurant, BUT we won't chose room 10 again!

At the beginning everything seemed to be very nice. Very beautiful old building, totally restored, nice spacious rooms, clean and nicely decorated. Car park was chargeable (10euro) but secure. Our dinner in the atmospheric hotel’s restaurant was excellent though rather pricey. No menu in English but the waiter in the restaurant spoke rather good English.

The room was great (we chose a different room - no 10 - just to see what else they had) and we again had a good meal in their restaurant.

Accueil impeccable lors de la réservation et de notre arrivée à l'hôtel.
Hôtel: chambre très grande, très propre. Équipement impeccable. Literie excellente. Nous avons dormi comme des loirs.
Petit déjeuner tout à fait satisfaisant.
Restaurant (dans une superbe cave voûtée): cuisine excellente; si vous appréciez les abats, je vous recommande les rognons.
Tout cela dans une jolie petite localité.
Nous n'hésiterons pas à y faire une halte quand nous "remonterons" encore du Sud de la France.
