Fascinating history of the Cognac business and Martell's contribution in particular. Knowledgeable and professional personnel add value. The cognac shop is great too.

I took a friend and client for the Martel Cognac and it was a very good experience. The tour was also in English.

Great guided tour. We really enjoyed the profesional explanation ; allowed us to understand the importance of every step in the production of a great product

Very little of the tour takes you through actively used spaces in the distillery. Instead you are shown a not-used still, a diorama explaining barrel making, and a promotional video about the product. An articficial Disneyland about spirit making is not so interesting for me, but everyone else seemed to really enjoy it. And the tour guide was great. Plus of course the tasting at the end is stellar (pro tip: spring for the expensive stuff). And I did learn a lot.

We had a great show, with an English gentleman who was very friendly and sympa. Good rundown on the process, and a very relaxed atmosphere.
