Huge art collection, worth a visit, many wonderful paintings, reasonable admission charge. No English text written guides, no refreshments. Staff not very helpful. . .

We spent a late afternoon captivated by the quiet humility of this wonderful place and bought a Virginie Demont Breton print as a reminder of our visit.

An excellent museum and art gallery. It holds some extraordinary artwork, and without the maddening crowds of the Louvre. When we visited this place it was showing an exhibit of artwork on loan from the Palace of Versailles. I'm not sure if this is a permanent exhibit, but it was simply a pleasure to enjoy this display without other people around (such as might have been the case at the Louvre or Versailles... seriously, there was only about 4-5 other patrons there at the time!).
