Dior Exhibition was superb. So interesting and so much to see. Very crowded though in the smaller rooms; some air conditioning would have been very welcome.

Also, it's included in the Paris Pass and I didn't know it. That's even better!

Beautiful chairs, sculpture, furniture, and overall decoration on normal objects. The Roger Tallon exhibit is a wonderful recent history of utilitarian design.

I went there by the time they had the barbie-themed exhibition. It was a great experience and I was ablet o learn quite a bit of barbie's history and changes throughout the time.

Almost 30mins wasted to get into the exhibition!!!!!!

The museum is amazing but the staff is simply unhelpful!!! I knew French people only speak French but I expected some basic words, no one in that place could even say a word or a number in English! They checked my bag at the entrance and inside another security stopped me and kept speaking French, starting to rise the voice as I was standing there. Not a word in English and no one else around that could translate something(it was very crowded).. The problem was simply "bag too big"
Then, in the cloakroom, we were lots of tourists and the staff were shouting numbers only in French so obviously we were all there not understanding a word..

Always great exhibitions! Buy tickets online and if you can go out of usual rush hours (evenings on weekdays heavily packed) to enjoy your experience to the fullest.

We only saw the Dior exhibition, I really hope to see the rest of the museum some day. The organization is bad - we waited in line for 40min (even though we bought online tickets) and the exhibition was so crowded that it felt a bit dangerous at times, but it was still worth all the trouble. It’s simply amazing. Buy tickets online, come at least 30min early, brace yourself for the crowds and plan at least 2 hours for the exhibition. We stayed for 2,5 hours and would stay longer it was less crowded.

I booked the tickets online for the Dior exhibition and it was all in French (the English version doesn't have everything translated) I could understand a bit only because I speak Italian and Spanish, no idea how someone else could understand!!! I also had some issues with the online tickets and when I sent some emails, I only received answer in French!!!

This is one of my favorite museum in the world. First because it is located in the most amazing and Biggest museum in the world: le louvre. Second, because it is situated inside the napoleon 3 aisle. So one can actually see the splendor of the second empire style. Third, I would say the permanent collection: from furniture to interior design history people can see original pieces of the decorative art history from the middle age to the contemporary masters. Breathtaking... you will need to allocate time to see it all.
the last point, and not the least, the temporary exhibitions. They are always amazing. From deco to fashion, everything is crafted and presented in the best of ways. Interesting, astonishing and educational. Splendid programing all year long.
kudos to the gift shop that will allow you to purchase really special designer items.

This venue hosts some amazing exhibits worth taking a look at when in Paris. Positioned at the far end of the Louvre palace (towards the gardens) you'll find an assortment of interesting and inspiration shows.
Most recently went to see the Barbie exhibit-and what a show, do whatever you can to get yourself a ticket, it's not something you're going to forget in a hurry.
You'll also find a spectacular fashion exhibition as well as rooms filled with some exquisite jewellery from centuries ago, furniture and sculpture.
So many people say it, and that's because it's so true, this is definitely one of the best museums in Paris.

There's a lot of really interesting things to see. I went for a special exhibition of Christian Dior, where it was was absolutely sweltering and I was bored out of my mind, even though it was clearly well put together. I'm thankful I saved a little time for the permanent collection, which was much less crowded and really worth the time.

It's a beautiful building located in a central area. Unfortunately I was dragged along to see the Dior exhibit and had to wait in a huge line to get in. If if been there to see something worthwhile I would give it a 5.

Truly underrated and oft-missed. Exceptional and marvelous pieces across multiple eras. The exhibitions are of an incredible standard. Paris has a lot of incredible museums, but this is probably one of my personal favourites.
