Excellent museum, lots of interesting material of the war relating to both sides. Was not too large for my 4 and 8yr olds to get too bored before the end.

Interesting and well laid out museum detailing both the landings and subsequent battles. Good artefacts and dioramas. Recommend in combination with the cemetery as part of a D-Day route.

A wonderfully presented, deeply respectful tribute to the allied forces and their comrades in the French resistance. Very informative, very friendly staff and perfectly situated near the British Military Cemetery in Bayeaux. Pristine exhibitions and all situated on Alley de Liberte...aptly named indeed. Excellent prices and the tickets are valid for a return visit within 12 months.
