Great little maritime museum with rich history. They have a couple of huge models of ships that were used for training purposes back in the day. Lots to see!

It was an interesting exhibition, but I was disappointed about only seeing French notes and not a single English one. Although there was English audio guide, it hadn't covered all the material.

The National Museum of the Marine Toulon is a great and educational way to spend an afternoon out of the heat. The exhibition was very informative and there were lots of different items on display, so it never got boring. I learned a lot about naval engineering at Toulon! An audio guide of your language of choice was included in the admission free, and the explanations were thorough. The only reason I do not give the museum five stars is that the item descriptions are only in French, and at least English as an additional language would be nice as well. The audio guide only covers selected exhibits and there were many items with French labels which I could not quite understand. I would have loved to to understand everything.

Really good muesem, only downside is that I think their should be more exhibits for the modern fleet. Lots of history though and it's great. It's free for anyone under 26, but if you are older it costs 6 euros, which is worth it.

We were on a cruise, and it was very easy to get to. So interesting, and had audio tours in many languages.

We had a blast, even though we were pretty exhausted.
