Maybe a bit of a ride from the city center, but this is one of those overlooked attractions in the city which has a great view of the city for free. The quaint surroundings just makes it all the more reason to visit.

Very beautiful small park but with a fantastic view of Paris on its top. Worth combining the visit with parc Buttes-Chaumont and the cemetery a little southern.

This is a lovely little park on a hill with the most complete view of the Eiffel Tower anywhere in Paris, but oddly it's not much of a photo because it's too distant. On Sunday afternoons, there seems to be a regular Latin music event, with lots of people dancing and trading partners. At the top, there's a bit of a hipster area growing with a couple of places to sit outside and eat. It's a little seedy with obvious dealer activity from the nearby housing projects, but the two worlds seem to tolerate each other. If you walk back rue des Envierges, you'll discover another neat little square. Take rue des Cascades to the right for yet another nook at the end of the street. In the summer, the little bar there puts out maybe 20 tables all around the intersection. This part of town used to be where the city stored water. All the street names reflect that past. You can follow this back over to rue Ménilmontant or turn around and go back to the square and walk up the stairs to get to Métro Jourdain.

A small Park in Paris with is quite average. The best part is the top during summer and the waterfall when the weather become too warm. If you just happen to be in Paris for a week, it's not worst thinking about coming here. But I'd you just come to eat a sandwich it's fine. For children there is a big and really fun amusement park which is free.

Amazing place. If you go in sundays maybe you will find some local musicians playing in the grades.

Good place to chill out in Paris. Not very crowded but still well kept. Not many families visiting, most visitors were small groups.

Great views and very green with a nice Caffè at the top entrance but can be a bit dodgy towards the evening.

This park is in a slightly seedier part of town, but it's worth a visit. If you commit to the walk up the steps, it's rather steep. Or you can take the longer way with sloping paths. The view from the very top is really excellent.

The view is slightly obstructed by trees but is nonetheless nice when the weather is clear. The park itself, however, is in desperate need of cleaning. Worth a quick visit if in the vicinity.

Delightful park with an incredibly creative playground built into the side of the hill. The view from the top is better than Montmartre. Most of the park can be descended by stroller.

I'm sure it's a lovely place for locals, but as a tourist, do not come here. The plant life seems well tended, I saw workers tending to it in fact. But the fountains are largely broken and it frankly smells of standing water in a very bad sort of way. It has a reasonable view but that's the only endorsement I can offer, and better views can be had elsewhere.
