Friendly and accommodating staff, excellent selection of pastries. Reasonably priced for the good quality and nice location. Pastries can be taken to the trendy and modern seating area for a small fee. There's a small food and drink menu available for the seating area as well.

We had a wonderful experience at Sylvain Depuichaffray. My husband and I visited this lovely little patisserie for breakfast when we were in Marseille. It is such a lovely store, super clean and well lit, the staff are very friendly and the owner/manager is just wonderful!! There are English speaking servers so there are no problem communicating with them. We had millefuille and some croissants and a chocolate cake which were all exquisite!! We would definitely visit again if we are in Marseille again. This is definitely a MUST TRY.

I was searching for some spectacular pastries for an after dinner party and stumbled across this place. The pastries are devine and are presented beautifully. Uber chic, a little pricey but definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing!! All their pastries are lined up on a counter and a wooden bar separates the customers from their, for a good reason! Their violet mousse and coco biscuit was light and tasty. Yummy!
