It's a shame, too, because it's a really nice-looking establishment and the food they brought out to their other clientele looked good. But there are enough awful people out there willing to treat others like garbage for free, so I'd suggest not going and paying for it.

The moment they had my money, all facades of politeness vanished; my "merci messieurs, bonne journee" (not that I was terribly happy with them, but it's rather become a habit) received stone-faced eyebrow-cocked stares back at me. Never--literally never--have I seen that kind of rude behavior from waitstaff *anywhere*, much less France.

I arrived backpack-clad and asked if there was a seat somewhere near an electrical outlet, so I could charge my computer while I wrote emails. Immediately the eyebrows were disdainfully raised at (I can only assume) my appearance--perhaps I didn't look pleasing enough to them to be treated with respect. The "monsieurs" were peppered with sarcasm and my French (which I spoke, exclusively) met with impatient eye-rolls.

After thirteen months of traveling in France, this is the first place I've experienced that "typical" French waiter snobbery--which, in fact, isn't remotely typical and thus why I'm taking the time to write this.

I ordered a beer, and continued working online for a couple hours after I'd finished--all the while being shot the type of glances one reserves for the bug that had the audacity to land in their drink. Frequently the staff would share a ribald laugh, then all simultaneously look over at me, grinning.

Parem a Arles tornant d'Itàlia. Fem el menú express, plat principal a triar entre 3 opcions + postre (16'50€). El resultat molt satisfactori. Plats generosos i exquisits. Les amanides són un plat ben complert.

Good environment to have a dinner, price is acceptable and affordable. I ordered a steak with choice of patato gratin. The food taste fine . Service is good and attentive

Small portions for price compared to other nearby places. Order was wrong, but was corrected upon pointing it out. Biggest issue was timing. My main course was brought when companion's salad was brought.

De bon plats locaux, service agréable, vin du terroir parfait. Amis touristes une pose déjeuner s'impose.

The point at which I decided to leave was when they turned off the lights only above my corner of the room, which also cut power to my laptop. It was done in a slow series of dimming and I guess I wasn't supposed to notice?
