I really enjoyed dinner every night with all the other guests, and Dominic and Valerie. The food was delicious. Even though ma francais est tres mal, the conversation in french was really good fun. The room was lovely, very convenient to the airfield and they kindly collected me and dropped me off. I look forward to returning.

Meine Freundin und ich hatten eine sehr erholsame Übernachtung mit einem sehr guten Frühstück in La Heraudiere. Virginie und Dominique waren sehr nett und haben uns gute Tipps für die Besichtigung der Schlösser am nächsten Tag gegeben. Gerne wieder.

Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

La Heraudiere is the perfect hide-away. Like a little chateau hidden away inside the city of Tours. It has a classic romantic setting and offers a lot of privacy. The hosts Dominique and Virginie Aubrun are very kind and will provide you with anything you need. La Heraudiere is a very special place to remember.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le calme et la propreté des chambres et surtout par l'accueil de nos hôtes.
Le couple est vraiment très avenant et sympathique et n'est pas du tout avare de discussion.
La bâtisse et l'environnement sont vraiment très agréables et dégagent un certain charme.
Nous avons eu droit à un petit déjeuné complet avec de bon produits (yaourt et confiture maison !)
Je pense que nous y reviendrons si nous avons besoin d'un logement sur la région.

Spent 2 different weeks at La Heraudiere in June 2017 for an unforgettable experience. We were a family with 2 teens and I must say that our stays have been more than pure pleasure. Virginie & Dominique are 200% dedicated to make your stay more than enjoyable, they "sell" you Tours and this beautiful region, make everything possible to make you feel at home, let you enjoy their stunning garden for a drink or even a dinner, are always here to give an advice, make a nice remark ... We really had the impression to be visiting cousins and it has been altogether a very nice experience that I would definitely recommend, having tried a lot of Maison d'Hotes in the Tours area in the past few years (it is simply the best). Icing on the cake, on top of the huge garden with bicentennial trees, the house is charming, with very well equipped rooms and comfortable beds and the breakfasts are the best you can find 200km around ! Give it a try and you won't regret !
