Superb tour! I didn't know anything about champagne until I booked this tour. The tour guide spoke English clearly and was very courteous. 2 hour walk so be ready for that but you're rewarded with 2 free sample glasses at the end of the tour. More then worth it.

We were a group of eight and we booked a visit on a Friday morning. It seemed quite expensive at 50euro per person but we went ahead. We had a two hour tour including sampling the standard VCP yellow label as well as a glass of vintage 2006 Grand Dame. The tunnels below VC are quite amazing and the history of the company was exceptionally well presented. The Sommelier who guided us around was knowledgeable and engaging, it was a great time and I'm really glad we took the time...................

Absolutely beautiful facility, friendly tour, very informative. And, of course, oustanding champagnes.

Seeing the caves is very cool and impressive.
They could make it really amazing if they would expand the tasting (variety) and spend some more time on the aspects of the flavours - I still don't know much. The tour is simple - nice and interesting, but altogether 50€ is a bit too much for just this. Expand the experience or give a full bottle and it would be a 5*. It echoes the image of VCP as being more a marketing company than a champagne maker.

It shouldn't be that hard to make these tours truly amazing. Put in more"experience": tastings in the underground cellars, ask the audience for help opening the bottles, add more variety on the tastings, have a "goodie" (small bottle, a glass, anything!)

If you are even remotely into champagne, this is not to miss. Really excellent story and the caves are spectacular!
