Clean room and clean bathroom. Although the heating could be improved in the entire hostel by providing central heating, I think it's a pretty good place. Great to meet other travelers in the lounging area. Elevator should be from the ground floor rather than the first floor. Overall good hostel.

I was in a 4 bed dorm. The security was top notch as there were 3 security doors. The room was clean although the bunk beds were very squeaky. There wasn't much of a kitchen but it worked well.

Great location near the train station and metro, which made touring a breeze. There are tons on cafés and restaurants in the area so you'll easily find some place that you'll want to eat. The hostel itself is neat and clean, but lacks some of the ambiance that other hostels are known to have. The common room just isn't that comfortable for hanging around in. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.

Very good place. Nice rooms, hot water and good shower.
The staff is very nice and they speak English!!
Near by (50 metres) you have a good restaurant (churrasqueira galo) and a supermarket.

Very friendly staff and good location. The small rooms that others speak of are completely manageable, especially if you're planning on spending your time out and about anyhow. The kitchen is nice to have. My only warning: beware if you're a light sleeper. Between slamming doors and old plumbing, there are a few bumps in the night, as it were.

I booked a single room, but upon arrival I was told that due to a system error, my reservation was for a 6 persons female bedroom. They claimed it was due to an error at Expedia, and it has been happening for quite some time. It was a decent hostel, but I can't give it a high grade because of this. It shows poor management to solve a big issue. Come on... Contact with Expedia or whatever and solve it already, don't let it slide and be a problem for the next guess!!!

Visited the hostel in June 2016. With my family. It is practically in center of Paris. Location perfect. Well, you can't say that rooms are big, but they do the purpose. And the price is nice.
Other nice thing is the option to cook in the lobby for yourself. Just clean the kitchen behind.
Would return in case of revisiting Paris.
