The staff are very friendly - even when my friend told them he was in a hurry and would need his food more quickly than what they told us. (They basically said, ok, monsieur, we'll fix it.)
The pricing is decent for what you get. All in all a great experience!
They have menus in English and they're happy to make recommendations. The restaurant is bright, clean, and happy-looking, and the area where you can take off your shoes and sit in a hole in the ground (so it looks like you're sitting on the floor) is quite cool. The décor is great and the mirrors make the place seem bigger than it is.

I stopped here for lunch on the recommendation of a French friend who goes here regularly. And honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews. I thought it was great!
The food is absolutely delicious! The takoyaki are their specialty and definitely worth tasting. For my main dish I had salmon teriyaki, and while it was also delicious, I can agree with some previous reviews that it was a little bit flavorless - I would have preferred much more teriyaki.
