Firstly let me say all the staff were lovely, but that was the only good part. We had a check in time on our booking confirmation of 2pm, however when we arrived we were told due to being short staffed in house keeping it would be about 3pm, we waited patiently and finally got our room key at 3.45pm. The room had peeling wallpaper, was in need of an update. The shower door was hanging off, the toilet seat had pieces chipped off so it looked dirty. The toilet wouldn't flush(I have to say the hotel maintenance person fixed this. )However the toilet would constantly refill itself every 2 minutes, which was a slight blessing as it drowned out the sound slightly of the nightclub?/rave going on around the corner blasting out "club music" until 3.30am!! Again I have to say the staff were lovely, but this was far too expensive for what we got !

Pretty shabby, not clean, WiFi so slow it was unusable, very noisy in the street beside (very loud music and shouting until 3 in the morning), and noise (tvs/walking/toilet) carries from other rooms very loudly. Wouldn't particularly recommend unless you are an incredibly heavy sleeper who doesn't mind things being a bit dirty.

All in all the gogel is situated in a very good location, in the old center of the town, with a lot of attractions and restaurants nearby. But the services of the hotel in it's entirity of the hotel could have been better.

stanze piccole, letto scomodi, Wi-Fi così lento da non poter essere utilizzato, staff abbastanza scortese. L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione in centro.

Good point: very well located in the old city.
Bad points:
- everything is extremely old and used, no decoration whatsoever
- no hot water in the shower in the morning
- curtain pole fell on me in my room and the staff didn't present any excuses!
- breakfast is sad and food is of bad quality
- wifi is so slow you can consider they don't have any
Yes, it's a cheap hotel, but still there's no effort at all.

The Wi-Fi connection is so slow to be absolutely impossible to use. The computer in the lobby is prehistoric and useless all the same. The rooms are old and shabby, and pretty dirty. You are in a really central zone at least.

Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with this hotel!
Yes it's not a very fancy nor special experience, but it's very well located. Rooms are clean-ish and comfortable. The beach is 2 minutes away, restaurants are all around.. Perfect for an escape in St-Malo.
Would be nice to have breakfast included in the price, but otherwise OK experience and would go back.
