Pretty decent Alsatian food and ambiance the courtyard is away from the bustle of the cathedral. Service could be better but pretty standard for Alsace/France.

The Brasserie Au Dauphin is one of our stops when we go to Strasbourg. We almost always go for the menu du dauphin, and are always very happy with our choice. My husband prefers the meat options while I tend to go for the fish option. I personally love how fresh and tasty the seafood plater is, and the choucroute de la mer as well. The food is generally great! You get to enjoy regional food, and the service is very friendly and approachable too. A must go to for lunch or dinner! It is also very affordable when you compare quality-quantity-price with many restaurants around.
