We were biking since 4 hours, and we decided to stop to have a drink. At 11:43 AM, waiters / owners refused to serve us a drink. They were about to eat before serving. Place was COMPLETELY empty, and there had a bench without plates available. I hate these french restaurants refusing to serve a drink because it's lunch. That seems to become usual in this bloody country. I wouldn't ever recommend this kind of restaurant not polite, not gentle.

Atmosphere, wine and service 10/10. Food 7/10. A little bit expensive, but adequatly luxorius.

Our 4th visit to this area of France. We have visited a number of eating places arpund the Canal du Midi. This was very welcoming. The maitre d'hotel and all staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and bilingual. Happy to chat and make you feel cosy. All courses were very tasty and presented with panache. The setting is of course very beautiful. Best of all, the wine prices are very reasonable. Recommended

Wonderful setting beside the Canal du Midi, superb food and excellent value. By far the best restaurant in the area.
