I cannot recommend this place enough. An ideal location, perfect for families, safe and just enough gites so the children have always got someone to play with. My 9 year old boy and 6 year old girl absolutely loved it, was our 4th time and we are coming back next year. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a games room and spacious field with great outdoor play stuff, mine love the trampoline. The gites are homely and have a lovely barbecue area with great views. There are so many places to explore it can also be a adventure holiday, our favourite activities are kayaking, tree climbing, surfing on the cote savage and loads more. Paul and Patricia are the prefect hosts, down to earth and so helpful especially if needing to book any excursions. Can't wait for our 5th visit!!

Stayed at Bel Air Gites and found the gites and facilities excellent. Patricia and Paul could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome.
Lovely gites in a gorgeous area of France one needs more than just a few weeks to visit this area. Beaches within 15 minutes, Cognac only 30 minutes drive, Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Angouleme within one hour . Spoilt for choice. Try them out, you will not be disappointed.

Can't recommend Bel Air enough. Peaceful rural location that still has lots to do close by. Really well kitted out for families. We certainly hope to go back soon!

"A fantastic holiday!"
This was our first proper family holiday for myself, my husband and our one year old daughter Amelie. Having never stayed in a Gite before I wasn't sure what to expect and I certainly had no idea how easy and welcoming Patricia and Paul would make this holiday. Everything had been thought of - from back out blinds, baby monitors, baby nightlights to a huge games room for children and adults. It was just wonderful - the gite was really clean with everything you could possible need inside and out -gorgeous pool, swings. trampoline, ping pong table etc . It was also in a fantastic location near markets, sea sid'e towns as well as larger towns such a La Rochelle and Royan. I can't recommend Bel Air enough - a wonderful week away - the perfect place to take your children and great hosts - we were so sad to leave Paul and Patricia and the lovely dog Sandy and cat - Squeaks.
