Inexpensive camp ground only minutes away from Avignon center by foot. Plenty of trees provide shadow. Restaurant on site. Area for tents frequently used by groups of young people on bus tours.

Lovely camping site.very close to city.everything you need on site.toilets and showers poor due to need of cleaning.

Stayed May 2013.
Very well shaded. About €14 for 2, cycle touring. Staff friendly enough maybe a bit jaded, as it is a busy site. Excellent location, next to the Rhone. 15 Mins walk to the city walls.
Facilities are good, clean and big enough to cope. There is a shop, small cafe bar and a bunkhouse.
Closest camping to the city.

Very busy site but perfectly sited to stroll into Avignon centre. Just don't try and eat in their Auberge as it's foul, you wait for an age to receive mediocre food be ignored by ALL serving staff.

Camping great. Remember to ask for the electricity adapter. Good reasonable prices

Not to bad to stay for camping. The toilets and showers could use some work and can be confusing.

PLUS: Clean, nice view of the old town, friendly staff, safe place

MINUS: the pitch was a bit hard and sometimes there was a bit of noise coming from the bridge

Location counts for a lot. Great view across to avignon palace, and just a 10 minute walk. The camp is basic, crowded and busy.

Super basic hostel. The location is the only reason to want to come here, it's as close to Avignon as you could get. No inclusive bathrooms. Laundry facilities are good, but only a few machines. Administration is only open two hours a day....
