A great little campsite I only visited at the end of the season both the times I have stayed. At this time of year the site isn't overly crowded and there is not many people around the pool making it easier to get somewhere to sit down. Most caravans have some privacy and somewhere to park your car although some need to be parked at the entrance as there isn't room for them. All the caravans look to be very clean and relatively new. The shop has most basic items and fresh baked bread daily.

Als we met kleine kinderen gaan naar Argelès-sur-mar dan is dit ons favoriete camping. Het is stukken verbeterd in 2016 t.o.v. 2015. Meer speeltoestellen, een gym en animatie. Voor Nederlanders makkelijk omdat bij de receptie, mini supermarkt en soms animatie personeel Nederlands spreekt.

Le Bois De Valmerie - Argeles Sur Mer. We stayed at Le Bois De Valmerie during the first 10 days of August. The campsite is in an excellent location for the town, beach and port area and has good facilities. All the staff were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Any issues we had during our stay were resolved very quickly. The pool complex is excellent, feels very relaxed and very well run overall. I would highly recommend the site.

Nice site conveniently located near Le Racou Plage, but spoilt by greedy owners putting far too many units there. Our emplacement, booked through Eurocamp, was surrounded to the front, back, both sides and even diagonally offering us nothing more of a view than of surrounding mobile homes. The pool complex was good, but would surely become inadequate during the peak season. Friendly, helpful staff in the site shop and good value food in the restaurant, otherwise for me at least, little else to recommend it.

Close to the beach, nice pool with magnificent view over the sea. Relatively small camping providing a peaceful stay.

De locatie is ook geweldig. Vlak bij het strand, gezellig straat in Racou. Ietsjes verder de haven met veel winkeltjes en restaurantjes.

We had a lovely stay in le Bois de Valmarie. The swimming pool is excellent, extremely well maintained and wonderfully clean. We always got a sun lounger although it was quite busy as we either went first thing or nearer the end of the day. The beach at Racou, a 5 minute walk away, is stunning although it's not great for little ones/non-swimmers I'd say as it shelves very quickly, is quite stony and the sea is quite cold as a result. There are lots of fish though so if you have older kids who snorkel then it would be perfect. We had a modern 2 bed mobile home with air con and I'd asked for us to be off the main road of the site and we were tucked in the corner which suited us fine (but might not suit everyone). The mobile homes are all tightly packed in and this might not be to everyone's taste but it didn't bother us. The play park is good, the shop is well stocked (with an excellent bakery) and the restuarant had low key entertainment each night which was nice. Within walking distance there are lots of lovely restaurants and beach bars. All the staff were extremely warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you do book it's worth trying to remember to bring things like a couple of tea towels, probably salt, pepper etc as you do get a small welcome pack but it doesn't cover things like this. Overall we had a brilliant 10 days and would highly recommend this site.

Voor tieners is deze camping niet zo geschikt. Je kan dan beter naar La Sirène (wel erg massaal en druk) gaan of L'Hippocampe daar tegenover.
