Nous y sommes passés suite aux fortes inondations, le camping ne présentait aucune trace de celles-ci. Un énorme travail a été déployé par les propriétaires afin de le nettoyer. Chapeau !
Les sanitaires sont corrects mais légèrement vieillissant. Point hyper positif, les lavabos ont une bonde permettant de le remplir.
L'accueil des propriétaires est super. Le camping est très familial et le restaurant a un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Le cadre est charmant, situé au bord du Cher et non loin du château de Chenonceau.
Le camping est agréable et bien arboré même si la voie ferrée située à proximité constitue une nuisance sonore non négligeable.
Cependant, l'accueil de la propriétaire a été glacial à la limite de l'impolitesse.
Mais le pire a été de constater l'état de saleté impressionnant des sanitaires !
Malgré son environnement et sa proximité du village, je ne recommanderais pas ce camping.

it's a real shame that toilets and showers are in real shambles because this place, particularly its location, has great potential. They just seem not to care enough to keep decent standards.

Un accueil extra. Des gens adorables et disponibles. Un camping propre et agréable. Calme et simplicité. Un restaurant excellent, la bière y est bonne et fraîche. Que du bonheur !! Yann

Lovely setting on the banks of the river Cher. Good, clean facilities but an end of season feel in restaurant. Great for visiting the chateaux.

Arrivés tard en vélo, l'équipe nous a chaleureusement accueillis avec des pintes de bière tout à fait abordables. Les tartines (sortes de pizzas, spécialité du camping) étaient très correctes.
Le patron nous a ensuite permis de nous installer sous un grand barnum pour ne pas avoir à chercher un emplacement de tente dans la nuit ; grande idée qu'il a eue là, vue les trombes d'eau qui sont tombées à 7h du matin !
Petit-dèj pas cher et copieux
1 mot : génial !

Liegt wie der Ne sagt an einer Schleuse des Cher. Einfacher Campingplatz . Normale Preise.Larmbelästigung durch anlegende Ausflugsdampfer

This place actually checks all boxes - friendly check in, clean and powerful showers, site itself is well located by a river and pitches are spacious enough. Only given 3 stars because the toilet block is very small and gloomy - there was barely anybody here when we stayed in june but if there were campers the two toilets and two showers (two for men and two for women) would have struggled. There is a bar and wifi on site :)

Very warm and helpfiul welcome. The campsite is clean, flat and ideal for travelling with caravan, motorhomes & tent. Hot water and clean shower block. WiFi is free and just as important electricity is 10amp, so you can boil a kettle! This is a small camsite on the edge of the river, with tree lined pitches offerering partly shade but welcome sunshine.
Well situated for visiting the glorious chàteau's on the Loir. One in walking distance, the unmissable chàteau chenonceau, two others (30 min drive) Chàteau Chambord, the most extravagant royal palace / hunting lodge in the world - do not miss this opportunity. The third is Chàteau Valençay not as grand as the other two but just as magnificent.
Plan for three night visit see all this area has to offer.

Camping plutôt agréablement situé au bord du Cher (malgré la voie de chemin de fer à proximité ). Tout proche du château de Chenonceau . Tarif correct.
Accueil peu souriant (si vous souhaitez une facture il faudra la réclamer. ..).État des sanitaires peu engageant, peu suivi.
A reconsidérer : l'absence d'évacuations (égouts )au niveau des points d'eau sur le terrain.
