Spent 2 weeks at this site, there are several shower and toilet blocks and at no time during my stay did I have to wait for any facilities. The site is kept very clean and there is plenty to do. A tram bus stops outside the site and does regular trips into the main town. There is a beach close by (500 yards), but this gets fairly busy in the afternoon. Better option is to walk or tram to the main town beach which runs for a couple of miles where there is always space to bathe and sun. What I really liked was the onsite shops which sold all of the essentials at very competitive prices, the site sells it's own brands of wine at ridiculously cheap prices. Most of the staff are helpful and generally take time to speak. The main town has several reasonable restaurants which we found to be reasonably priced but not always welcoming. The pool area is large but gets very busy. Entertainment is very good for a campsite and the bar is reasonably priced.
I would return to this site.

Nice resort with lots to do for families, close to a clean sandy beach. Drinks and food are quite expensive on site so do all your shopping beforehand. One major bonus is that they are really dog friendly. Recommend the house red from the vineyard linked to the site.

very good - first time staying. Water park excellent - heated outdoor and indoor pools - great choice

Great campsite with its own vinyard and wine on tap. Beautiful beach in easy reach. Lovely and very clean pool complex with attentive lifeguards. Was occasionally a little noisy at night - not because of the campsite itself, but sound of nearby sites wafting over.

The pitch was a mix of sand and mud (children filthy all the time, why no grassy areas??) very little privacy as overlooked at every angle. Lack of trees although every pitch had a tree in the middle of the entrance which made parking the caravan a difficult maneuver. Making a booking time to have the private sanitary facitily checked on check out (which you can't do at reception) was unclear and we were eventually given a slot for this and to leave the camp a 8 am. After much discussion this was changed to 10.15 am. Difficult with 2 children and caravan to pack up as we were told 11 am was the normal check out time. Other family members hired a chalet type accommodation and on check out inspection the chalet had been thoroughly cleaned by us, the person checking was not very friendly and and appeared 'disgusted' over the fact the floor cloth was still wet! The floor cloth is provided by the site which was used to clean the floor. So yes it would still be wet considering the early inspection. It's a shame the site owners can't go that extra mile in making feeling campers welcome like the Spanish camp sites do.

Avoid at all cost. Horrible site with unkempt pitches, it made the Jungle at Calais look good. We had booked and paid for a week but left after only 2 days due to the conditions. There were groups of youths hanging around the showers and toilets every evening and nothing done about it BUT they put security cameras on the bin and recycling areas???? Impossible to sleep before midnight. I saw 4 people fall over coming out of the recycling area as the concrete slope was so slippery. The communal areas (showers, toilets, dish washing up) were dirty and in need of serious updating. Broken fencing and overgrown plants and hedges separated the camping pitches. It's by far the worst site I've ever visited and this was one of ten sites we stayed at during our stay in France, all of the others were lovely. Unfortunately for us we ended up having to paying for another site as it was just unbearable at Domaine de la Yole, an expensive lesson!

They stuck us in amongst the trees when they had large pitches for my motorhome .thw first pitch had someones washing on and to get there i hit the lowlying trees with my roof luckily the tree was rotten so it dosent look like i damaged my camper.i supose for a young family it wood be good but not for us.dog mess and litter on the ground so from me it is the pits.

Excellent as always, Gran Confort pitches remain a huge draw with private bathroom being the big thing. Back next year again.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Domaine La Yole. Evening entertainment was varied and surprisingly good. Swimming pool was great and there is a really lovely beach just the other side of the sand dunes. The burgers in the restaurant were good value and food was plentiful. Our only disappointment was that parts of the park were looking a little run down and our trek to the showers/toilets after dark was actually quite hazardous - next time we will remember to take torches! Parts of the park are very poorly lit and my grandson tripped over a large concrete block in the dark. Also the toilets by the camping pitches close at midnight and the management really do need to reconsider that decision. However, all things considered, we really did have a lovely time and my grandchildren are already badgering me to take them back again.

We had a fantastic holiday. Lot of ants that got in the caravan so take some ant powder. The on-site wine shop was very good, the quality and price of the wine was excellent. The fruit / veg stall was very good and the prices were great. The swimming pool area was very busy and at times standing room only in the main pool, so we stayed clear of the poll area and went to the beach. The beaches were easy to get to and they were not over crowded and very clean. The sea was lovely, warm, clear and great to swim in. We found that the checking in and out system was one of the best we have experienced, on arrival there were plenty of lanes to park the caravan whilst the security guard organised all your paperwork and gave you everything you needed to go straight to your pitch. We will defiantly return.
