This is a wonderful little campsite, clean, tidy, with a really friendly welcome from the on-site warden. It is also extremely good value, it cost us, two adults, caravan and electric just 10 euros per night. We have paid three times as much for less in the way of facilities. There is a big supermarket within a mile of the site, as well the shops, cafes and weekly market in the town itself. Domfront is a very interesting town with lots to see in the surrounding area.

After an overnight crossing on the ferry with no sleep then a cycle ride to here it was a welcome sight to find this campsite , welcoming staff , hot shower ,clean facilities 10 minute walk to some good resteraunts ,

Having camped for over 40 yearsall over Britain and Europe, and assisted in running a campsite in Scotland, I have never in my life heard anyone be asked to move their barbeque because the smoke is upsetting the children!! This was our first evening in France and were exhausted. All we wanted was a nice little BBQ, a bottle of wine, a shower and a good nights sleep. However, within 10 minutes of starting up the BBQ, the father of said upset child, came over asking if we were nearly finished - being tired from the long journey, our french wasnt up to much, and we thought he was being friendly so invited him and his family to join us when it was ready. He stomped off and was shortly replaced by the guardian of the site, who for being in the tourist industry, was the least friendly person i have met in quite a while, and promptly told us in french to move our BBQ - which we did, where he told us to. On top of an anthill!!!! However as we cant control the wind, obviously, the smoke from the BBQ still managed to make its way over to the offended family's tent, which incidently, was a good 20feet away. And, the children were off playing in the playpark! When our BBQ was finished, we had a glorious shower - the facilities here are lovely by the way - hence the 1 star, then went to bed, where we were kept awake by aforementioned children screaming and whistling. Did we complain?? No!! When we went to pay in the morning and told the lady where we camped, she looked at the 'guardian', who then nodded and both went hmmmmmmm....... We stayed at quite a few sites while we were in France, and ALL of them, some which had far less impressive facilities, would have scored 5 stars just because of their friendliness and customer service. So, in conclusion, an extremely pretty, well situated, well facilitated campsite, which is in dire need of new caretakers!!!!

Excellent plan que ce camping confortable, très propre et bien tenu. Accueil sympathique. Tarifs plus que raisonnables, avec de beaux emplacements. A recommander.

A l'accueil (au téléphone)on vous explique que vous ne pouvez pas arriver après 22H00 car la grille pour les véhicules est fermée .. Mais si vous vous garez hors camping comme nous, vous pouvez arriver en pleine nuit sans problème, l'accès piéton est ouvert ;)

Great site - very clean, friendly, comfortable, well-equipped and good value. Just glad we weren't there the same time as Chud Ridley!
