The Cathedral as such is very impressive, but as if there were missing information to make the experience more meaningful. Just walking around through the designated path wasn't very interesting.

Magnificent sight not to be missed in Strasbourg. The interior is beautiful as well with a very cool clock in the back corner. I went on a walking tour and learned a lot of history about the cathedral. There are many restaurants nearby and souvenir shops.

Amazing architecture! The stained glass windows were so detailed. The views from the top balcony were worth the €5. Spend time looking at all the intricate details in every aspect of the church. The stained glass windows relay the Bible like a picture book. Do not miss this site.

Great views from the top which you can climb up the stairs for around 5 euros. Beautiful and detailed architecture. Lots of food options in the area so you can get some ice cream and enjoy the view of the cathedral!

One of the most significant cathedrals in the region Alsace, you would not like to go to any of the cathedrals for a while after visiting this construction

This cathedral is amazing. It's absolutely huge, and a must see part of the city. Visit the top of the cathedral if possible the views from up there are second to none. A ton of restaurants are at the base of the cathedral are a great spot to relax and take in the sight.

A fantastic building - every detail has been thought of from the sculptures up high on the bell tower/spire to the the ones closer to the ground for example the gargoyle drain pipe. Paying the 5€ to walk to the top is definitely worth it for a great panoramic view of Strasbourg.

Very nice cathedral. We didn't go up because it was a gorgeous day and the line was huge, but we went in and had a walk around. We also sat outside people watching. Around the cathedral there are lots and lots of restaurants, but they seemed expensive, if you walk towards the river, you can find other places. Also, lots of souvenir shops with really cute stuff.

Amazing. A wonder of it's own.
Respect to those who created, built and still looks for this cathedral.
Try to visit the platform and look to all these various names and messages in the Wall.
The overview of Strassburg is the next Highlight.

Absolutely stunning architecture with a gorgeous stain glass window and organ inside. There is a video available at 12 noon on weekdays that is in 3 languages (French, German and English). Please note that each sentence in every different language tells the audience something different so don't try to follow every single sentence.

But if you ever go to visit the cathedral, PLEASE share the show for the most impressing clock on our Planet at 11:30 a.m. You have to but Tickets first.
Forget the atomic guided clocks nowadays, see that breathtaking artwork.

A lovely Cathedral. Amazingly intricate on the outside. The Cathedral shuts at 11.15am - 2pm, so make sure you go in before it closes if you don't want to hang about. Free entry to Cathedral (left hand side as you look at it) but if you want to go up the tower it is 5E for Adults and less for children (around right hand side corner as you look at it). If you suffer from vertigo you may have a hard time of it (like I did) as some of the walls of the spiral staircase are open so you can get the view. Many steeps up and it seems never ending, but a view over Strasbourg and mountains in the distance. It is open until quite late (depending on season). You may be able to catch the sunset if you go later. Astronomical clock is inside the Cathedral in the back right hand corner - you can get a ticket for E2.50 to see it in action at 12.30 should you wish.

Beautiful Cathedral. Everytime I've been to Strasbourg there has always been a long queue so I have never been inside. A few weeks ago I was lucky and there was hardly any queue. I was amazed and awestruck. By far the most beautiful church I have seen inside

Nothing had prepared me before too be awestrucked by this majestic giant cathedral. No photo cab justify the scale. You gotta see it with your own eyes. Bring some deep heat for your neck
