Found this place occasionally like 5 years ago. Since then I try to visit them on my every coming to France - to buy their splendid wines.Also a good place to visit once as a tourist.

This was the second stop on the tour. The wine was outstanding, the owner personally cooked us lunch. It could not have been a better experience. My wife said it was everything she ever dreamed of. Great stuff.

Wow. That's about all I can say. I booked a day trip Chateau visit and wine tasting tour through Viator. It was the Skip the Line: Chateaux du Chambord, Chenonceau and Loire Valley Wine-Tasting Day Trip from Paris.

For a good wine and cheese experience. They have a big hall for partys, weddings and dinners.

P.S. I secretly picked a tiny pear from the big tree in the garden. It, too, was delicious.

My daughter and I visited this chateau on the Viator Skip the Line: Chateaux du Chambord, Chenonceau and Loire Valley Wine-Tasting Day Trip from Paris two summers ago. Tour in itself was fabulous and would recommend to anyone but this particular stop was outstanding. Lunch was wonderful and the family/host so gracious. If and when I make it back to Paris I definitely plan on going back to this wonderful find.

Lovely family residence. Interesting wines to taste. Very amiable owners. No food but can buy wines. Dry Sav Blanc recommended.

Château de Nitray was the best gem we could've stumbled upon. We were looking for vineyards along our route North, and I found this place and saw the photos and instantly I wanted to be there. The place looks exactly like the photos.
The gentleman who greeted us and guided us through the tasting was so personable and nice. I was surprised that the family lives in the castle, what a life! It gives the place a warm spirit.
The wines we tasted were Brut, Sauvignon, Cabernet (Les Meilleures), and Côt. There's also a sweet wine called Chenin that's super tasty. The prices were extremely reasonable, I left with 6 bottles (as many as I can bring back to the States) and 2 souvenirs, all for a bit less than 50€.

I would absolutely come here again. There's really nothing not to like.
