Très joli hotel. Nous sommes restés deux nuits. Il est dommage que le petit dejeuner du deuxième jour soit composé des restes de la veille (pain, viennoiseries et fromage). Pour 25 euros par personne c'est un peu decevant. Dommage egalement d'avoir des problemes d'eau chaude, à deux reprises dans le week end. Hormis cela, les chambres sont très confortables, l'hotel est calme et très bien situé.

The Château was once a beautiful house but is now in need of some reburbishment in order for this establishment to match other hotels rated 4 star in the area. The public areas of the Château are pleasant but the piped music is out of keeping and the food disappointing and very expensive, given the calibre of what is provided. However, it is peaceful and an easy drive to the glorious châteaux and gardens along the Loire, and very close to numerous Vouvray vineyards. The hotel has a good Wine List and it is a pleasure to sit outside with a glass of sparkling Vouvray at the end of a busy day. Be warned, there is no air conditioning, few showers in the rooms (other than as part of the bath) and the bathroom fixtures and fittings date from the 1980's - even to the detail of mock-crystal ashtrays mounted on the walls of tiny bedroom toilets. There is space to wander in the grounds, but take precautions against mosquitoes as they are voracious. The swimming pool is pleasant (a good size and heated) with places to sit and relax. There is also an ancient tennis court.

It is a "OK" but too pretentious hotel. It is definitely NOT a Relais Chateaux. Extremely expensive for what it offers in terms of infrastructure and service.
Leaving the place, my father (who is 60 years old) carried his luggages because nobody besides the receptionist lady was there to put it in the car.
They charged 1 coffee (7,50 euros) that my husband had 15min before we as a family arrive in the breakfast room for the proper breakfast: they said that since he wasn't there for the meal, they charged it separated. Aff... it is SO petty to do that!!!!
I would never stay there again... and it is a shame that it is recognized as a Relais Chateaux!!! I feel sorry for the other great places that carry the same credential...

Service, chambre, repas. Tout est de très haut niveau.
