A proper lifters gym with enough equipment and space. Lacks a pool or boxing bags but it's worth it over the Waou gym nearby. I'm especially a fan of the open design and natural lighting.

Overall a nice spacious gym. Some of the staff are really nice and some not so much. The vending machine at the entrance is mostly not working not sure why it's there. I could give 5 stars but that needs a lot of improvement especially attitude of some of the staff (a tall blonde lady at the reception), professors in some courses, maintenance of rowing Machines - grips of some of them is gone, etc etc. This gym has a lot of potential to be a good one.

!!!BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! CMG Clubs are NOT FRIENDLY TO FOREIGNERS - (ESPECIALLY AMERICANS). I signed up for the club on 5/3/2017 and told EXPLICITLY that I needed to pay 180 Euro for month #1 and 70 Euro per month going forward. This is already a very high price, but due to location I didn’t have a choice. I chose this because 70 Euro going forward fit my budget for the summer. When I returned the manager said I needed to pay 180 Euro for each additional month and denied having agreed to the original price. I AM A STUDENT and would never have agreed to this. I made this explicitly clear to the person signing me up. Even though I explained this to the manager along with the fact that I am a FOREIGN STUDENT ON A BUDGET, he gave me a smug smile and shrugged his shoulders. Not to mention the entire time I belonged there I was greeted with similar distaste from the staff apparently because I am not fluent in French. DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB IF YOU ARE FOREIGN!!!!

I have used this Sports Club over the years during my visits to Paris.
It is spacious clean and well equipped and there have been a number of improvements over the past 6 months, for example the sauna has been completely rebuilt.
If you do not want to take out an annual subscription then they offer a number of monthly rates but a single unlimited months subscription has always been around 180 Euro and not 70 to 80 Euro as i saw in one review. I can only assume that if someone had this impression they had mistaken it for the monthly cost of taking out a 12 month contract. Of course if you are only visiting for a shorter period and want unlimited access then you will need to pay a higher single month tariff.
