Basic. Clean and quiet. Staf are clueless, so don't come with a big group or they'll panic.

Without laboring the point I will simply say that rather than have our weekend spoilt by staying in this dank flophouse, we booked into another hotel in the centre of Lille at significant additional cost. It was worth it.

The beds are comfortable. Gotta a good night sleep.

The wifi is good! Was able to netflix no problem.

Local restaurants and cafes are about 20min walk.

No hot food such as sausages, bacon, eggs.
They have a toaster...

If this has just been renovated, I shudder to think what it was like before the work was done.
Situated next to an open industrial wasteland, with charming views of a motorway flyover and many fine examples of local urban graffiti, this hotel promises little and delivers less.

This hotel is too bad

On entering one is greeted with a dingy, unpleasant smelling reception, low wattage bulbs and bits of paper stuck on walls, all reminiscent of a 1970's airport lounge in eastern Europe.

The room was equally inspiring, being tiny, smelly and dirty with a faint feeling of damp despair.
I have stayed in worse places, but they were under attack at the time.

As a final bon voyage, the unfriendly drone on reception insisted I pay a 'city tax' for each night I didn't stay in their crumbling pit. It was a nice touch and I understood his attitude. I too would be a supercilious git if I had to spend my time in such an unpleasant place.

Perfect .

The breakfast is 10€ and you have to book it. Not worth it, they have cold food ie croissants pan au chocolate, cold meats etc.

Rooms are ok and clean. Personal is friendly and with the train you need 15 minutes to the city center. BUT the internet is aweful!!!

Poor. Rooms are tiny, breakfast is expensive and they ran out of everything. When checking out I explained that I didn't have breakfast as they had run out of many items, I was told no refund available unless I phone and write in etc. Which of course no-one has time and patience to do. Very poor customer service.
