Small museum on an authentic location, known as "Dead Man's corner", focussing on day-landing troops. Large room-full displays of German paratroopers during the battle and large collection of wartime stories from both sides with fitting artefacts.
Slightly oversized giftshop for "collectionneurs". Nonetheless worth a visit when visiting the Normandy-Carentan area.

An excellent collection of high quality original artefacts superbly displayed. Also backed up by the very good C-47 simulator which our little Anglo American group from Toccoa GA enjoyed enormously. Tim Green Trustee Kennet Valley At War Trust Museum Littlecote House England 506th PIR HQ

I have been to this museum quite a few times and found it really interesting,last week I went again and was totally blown away by the experience,the simulated flight in the c47was brilliant the story of Lt Col Wollerton was very moving as he did not make it ,well done a story well told.

The museum has some very interesting pieces and the airplane experience is pretty unique. The introductory speech is a little cheesy, but that's easy to overlook.
