We stayed in 'Violotte' - a 1900s gypsy caravan that has been made into a lovely b&b room. Our bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was really large with a great shower. The Gypsy style decoration in the caravan is beautiful and it's such a cosy place. Amazing countryside and lovely hosts completed our 4 night stay.

I have now visited this imaginatively restored château on a number of occasions. Each time there is something new to explore or capture my interest. Be it a walk in the forest or enjoying the presentation of an adapted Alan Bennett TV monologue, A Lady of Letters into French! The hosts, Lola and Claude are very loveable and delightfully eccentric. Wherever you are from on the planet when you come to SW France please make sure you find the time to at least visit for one night and delight in the charming rural corner of France. À bientot!

Magnifique endroit où l'on est coupé de tout, rangez vos téléphones et autres tablettes, vous n'aurez ni wifi ni réception là bas et c'est tant mieux !
Entre la piscine et la forêt avoisinante, vous ne vous ennuierez pas !
