Alsacian houses from different centuries are brought here stone by stone to create a singular village where you can spend the day.

Very interesting place, explanations in French, English, and German. The buildings are most interesting, more than the interiors. Many live demonstrations of past agricultural life. It was well worth the visit for us.

Old life as they had it. Keep at least 4-5 hours. Do not miss the boat ride and the dancing class.

A fantastic display of traditional Alsace buildings from all over the region. Good food in the winstub. One guide spoke great English and gave us the whole description in French & English. Only wish their was more English translations on the exhibits.

Great family accommodation. Lots of room for kids to play and unwind after a long drive.
A bit complicated to find the entry.
Good food and great breakfast.

We went on December and many fires were lit on different streets so you could get warm. An amazing experience was a concert held at nightfall inside a house living room, with a family wearing classic clothes and singing Christmas carols.

It could have been better if the guy by the boat had waited for us. We had planned our tour by ending it with barque tour at 4:30 and we were there on time, the guy didn't even looked at us and closed the chains. The boat was not at full capacity we saw way more people through the afternoon. We had two kids so they were very disappointed. Not a great service!! The rest of it is really great but try to get people that are enjoying their jobs and knows they are creating guests. You have volunteers and they are way more helpful than this guy!!

We really enjoyed the place.

Awesome place, a lot of animals, boat rides are cool with a little of the history of the place.

You can bring your own food or eat at their restaurant. There is an hotel, too.

Well worth a visit. However if you do not speak French you will struggle to understand the exhibits as they have limited info in English. The guides are great. However don't expect them to be 'in character' as I was expecting. It has excellent facilities and camping car area.

A number of museums are hold inside, together with living demonstrations of the typical jobs of the time and the opportunity to hop on a rustic carriage pushed by horse.

Lovely place with lots to see. Horse and tractor cart rides are only in the afternoon though. Which is tricky if you come early.
