Décidément les loueurs à Aix en Provence TGV ne sont pas très honnête. J'ai loué une Fiat 500 il y a deux ans. Je fais toute confiance à la marque et après un rapide coup d'œil à la voiture, je signe le PV d'état du véhicule rempli à l'avance par l'agence Europcar. Arrivé à ma destination, je découvre que la voiture est cabossé. Bien évidemment, Europcar qui dispose de l'emprunte de ma carte bleue m'a débiter un montant exhobitant pour la remise en état de la voiture. Après plusieurs courriers, j'abandonne avec seulement mes yeux pour pleurer. Depuis, je n'ai jamais plus loué une voiture chez eux. Eh bien, la semaine dernière, il arrive la même mésaventure à ma fille, mais cette fois, chez Sixt à Aix en Provence TGV Même dialogue de sourd, même échange de courrier mais avec un robot, même empreinte de CB leur ouvrant docilement le compte bancaire. L'affaire n'est pas finie, cette fois je ne laisserai pas faire cette arnaque exsperante !

Attention contrat avec contrôle de la voiture fait avant par agence et pas de contrôle avec le celui qui loue

Les procédures administratives ont été faites rapidement. Le véhicule qui m'a initialement été attribué avant pas mal de rayures. Je l'ai signalé à l'agent Europacar qui m'a donné immédiatement un autre véhicule, presque neuf ! Retour très simple et efficace avec une employée qui a fait me check-in directement sur le parking retour. Bref une location en confiance !

Agence correcte, rapide et plutôt efficace. Attention cependant à bien vérifier le véhicule dès que vous le prenez. Mon véhicule était soit disant "sans dommage", mais ce n'était pas le cas.

J'ai prévenu 2 semaine puis 1 semaine à l'avance et 2 jours avant comme demandé par la personne que j'avais au bout du fil que nous louons un Jeep Renegade car nous partons à 2 à la montagne.

Warning. They will try hard to rip you off. Rented a car for 3 weeks with premium insurance package. Upon returning the vehicle they claimed there was a scratch on the back of the side mirror, passenger side. If there even was any damage (I didn't see anything and I inspected the vehicle before returning) it must have been there before or been so miniscule that I couldn't see it. A damage so small should be considered normal wear and tear of the vehicle. Had to pay 60 euros in "administration fee " for the damage, god only knows what they would charge if I did not have the insurance... In hindsight I should have inspected the vehicle together with one of their agents both when collecting and returning the vehicle. They also charged me for 13 litres of fuel, which I find ridiculous since I topped off the fuel about 55-60 km away from the station (there are no nearby gas stations). What kind of car uses 13 litres in 60 km!? Rip off. I have rented from other Europcar offices both in France and Australia and never had these problems before. Stay away from this branch!!!

Be very careful when you book a rental car here. They appear to be cheap, but their business model is based on ripping off customers. They will add amounts to your bill for all possible things, without any valid reason: I filled up the tank at a nearby station (there is no gaz station on site) and still they counted 17 liters at 1,80 euro/liter + 15 euros for filling it up!! This is pure theft. And when I returned the car, the lady checked it and she didn't even mention that they would put that amount on my bill. They smile in your face and then rip you off as soon as you leave their office. They also counted 20 euro for "equipment replacement" without even mentioning which equipment they needed to replace!? And then there was EUR 270 for "damage to the car" whereas I am sure I didn't cause any damage. They know there is some kind of minor damage, which you can hardly see when you do a quick inspection, and I am 100% sure that they make every next customer pay for the same damage. And then you can complain all you want to their customer service: nobody replies and they just take the money off your credit card and there is nothing you can do. Europcar is simply corporate organised theft. I would strongly recommend not to use their services. You are warned!!!
