V'Lille, please start organizing your bike renting in a more tourist friendly way as soon as possible!

By now I know how the system works as V'Lille employees told me by telephone. That was after many times trying to reach them, most of the time the telephone connection just broke off. I think the French message (everything is only in French) was that the employees were to busy.

Nice place for train station - in the middle of the Lille. Very close to main square, shops, small cafe bars...

I have a very bad experience with bike renting by V'Lille (which has one station at Gare Lille Flandres).
In principal the system of automatic bike renting by stations is great. However the way it is "organized" is very confusing at least for tourists and in the end you risk to pay a ridiculous huge amount of money.

Easy access and near to all public transport systems

V'Lille (as the system is called) is based on the idea that you bring your bike back to a V'Lille station every 20 minutes. Whereas I tought I rented a bike for 24 hours so I could just lock it with the attached lock most of the time.
Now I have to pay 25,60 Euro's in stead of 1,60 Euro. This isn't at all clear neither on the V'Lille site nor on the terminals at the stations.
