Fine hotel with modern equipped comfortable bedrooms built into ancient surroundings. Excellent breakfast included with a broad selection of breads, cheeses, jams, as well as cooked items, from local souces. The hotel is adjacent to the Loire Bridge and over looks
the famous river.

I've stayed here a few years ago and I came back this summer as I liked the hotel so much.

Atmospheric. complete with the sounds of chanting monks (probably pre recorded) and of course authentic architecture

Lovely terrace overlooking the river. Drinks were pricey, but not beyond expectation. Waiting staff were excellent.

Stopped at the hotel for a few drinks on the terrace one weeknight evening. Drinks were priced as expected from a nice hotel, terrace was very nice, staff were more than helpful and the waiter who served us spoke very good English.

Great hotel. Amazing building and location. The only negative is that my room lacked a proper shower. Pretty strange for a €100+ room.

Amazing service and very nice room. We arrived with kayaks after some nights at the riverbank, and did not look very fresh. Nevertheless we got the best service and hospitality. I hope I get the pleasure to go back to this nice city and stay at grand hotel. The breakfast was ok.
