We expected to stay 5 nights, but the room was just too small for us to enjoy. We had to move the furniture around just to open our suitcases. Even after that, it was hazardous to move around. The hotel also claims it has an elevator, but be prepared to lift your luggage up a flight of stairs because the elevator begins on the second floor and barely fits a suitcase. We ended up canceling our reservation.

Aug 25, 2017 - BED BUG ALERT. My mother was bitten by a bed bug. We flipped the pillows to uncover about 7 more. We requested a room change, but the receptionist told us there were no more rooms available and hung up on us. It was 2am. We pestered him, until he finally "found" another available room. (Room 25 was our original room, by the way).

Hotel Agora in Paris is a very good compromise when looking for a great base point to explore the huge city! Considering its very good price, it offers a good room in a central point of the town (Metro station: Chatelet-Les Halles, where a new commercial centre is being built). Nice street view, free internet connection but breakfast could be provided on request. It is very close to Centre Pompidou and surrounded by many places for eating out or for shopping to!

Rooms were as small as expected, amazing restaurant downstairs. Decent service given the language barrier. Ask the front desk for anything you're missing and they'll help (we had never stayed at a hotel with a main power switch but they patiently explained).

Nice tiny little rooms,. No AC which made the 30 degree night unbearable. The street noice didnt stop until around 3am and the street cleaners started at 6.

Very small hotel. Very small rooms with no A/C, thus very hot. Smallest elevator /lift I had ever seen in my life, and you still have to carry bags up one long flight of stairs to reach the lift. Room only had ONE towel and ONE pillow. They were able to provide extra towels after 3 calls to the front desk, and was given a small fan upon checkin. Great location however! But note there is currently much construction happening nearby, so it is noisy during the day, and many train exits are closed. Please plan accordingly. The Lescot exit from the RER works best.
